just got this today:

Negura Bunget - N Crugu Bradului : 12 $ shipment included, quite cheap from Russia :P

Also ( not from Russia):

Interitus - The journey : limited to 350 vinyl

Clandestine Blaze - Deliverers of Faith : vinyl

Aarghh... why do i have to be so impatient   ??!? Everytime i get a new lp i pull the lp out as fast as i can of the packages without unwrapping it probably. This means that most of my lp sleeves are bend in the corners, and it doesn't look very nice.

Velvet Cacoon - Genevieve
Graveland - Creed of Iron
Wyrd - Hulddrafolk
Ildjarn - forest poetry
woodtemple - feel the anger of the wind

I can't believe how
1. bad ildjarn sounds
2. how much I like it!

The rhythms of Ildjarn are quite spectacular, they just scoop you up and take you along like a stream running through the woods. Thanks for bringing them up in the forums!

I can definately see the Graveland influences in Woodtemple (at times nearly a clone), although I think the songwriting in Graveland is stronger. However, I really like the whole sound, esp. the full guitar tone. I think bands like this are much better at evoking a feeling of battle than Viking metal. Great intros, too - I love deep warrior chanting!

If the second Woodtemple has stronger songwriting than this, I would probably like it a lot.

Then I think you need to try some Drudkh. Same idea, far stronger effort. Ildjarn's rhythm section indeed is very good, I almost disbelieve that 90% of it is improvised!

Indeed, Drudkh was one of the first non-classic BM CDs I purchased, and it still stands as one of my favs. Actually, from what I have heard of Hulddrafolk, I would say they have much in common with Drudkh - you might like it (if you haven't heard it, which I doubt).

And I will change my stream imagery to several grinning gnomes with glassy eyes and big lips bouncing through the forest in unison. The music is too alive for something natural.

We'll see about that.
Right now I'm listening to Candlemass and it brings back great memories.
As if Marcolin has never been away.
This CD rocks!

That Agalloch is the best from your list. If you like it, you MUST try Woods Of Ypres - Against The Seasons (it's even better and does have better vocals both clean and raw. At least the clean ones don't sound like from a boyband...)

I've purchased their "Pursuit of the Sun, etc."-album some time ago, but I've bought so many albums last year and had so little time, that I only listened to it once.
From what I can remember it was pretty good. I also remember you writing on the forum that "Against the Seasons" is better.

I even have some CD's here on my shelf I've never listened to, aaaaaarrgggh, what to do?
