Holy shit. The vocals are way too high in the mix like y'all said, but this album is fucking badass. I'm the first one to mock Darkthrone, but wow harsh realization that I've been listening to the wrong albums all this time. Why hasn't this been remastered yet?

I love all darkthrone...I guess you could call them a bit cheesy or maybe tongue-in-cheek a bit but I've always liked them. Panzerfaust is a good record, and yes the vocals are BLARING through the mix!

Why hasn't this been remastered yet?



If the vocals were just quieted down in the mix there is a good chance I'd listen to this one more than any other BM recording.

Better than I remember it being. Why exactly was this known as the bad BM production standard? Certainly an easier listen than Ulver's Nattens Madrigal, and better mixed than Panzerfaust.
