This band really strikes my imagination as something truly unique and stellar. In a setting where great modern power metal bands with inventive chug riffs and 00ber catchy choruses like Sabaton, Newer Hammerfall, and Rhapsody of fire can crank up the prod levels, Van Canto says no and goes for something completely original! They crank up the Nuclear blast 150,000$ production values and have vocalists that have such memorable vocal lines as "TBTBTBRTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTBTB BLLLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBL" and sound like the Tasmanian devil with a great b list Opera singer!

This band is the vanguard of modern power metal.
