Oh come on. Are you sure you listened to Priest? That's the most inaccurate desciption I ever heard about Halford & co.

I have heard Jugulator. Perhaps that album is not highly thought of? I have also heard Painkiller which I liked somewhat.

When a band has a back catalogue that stretches back to the early 70s.. it would be a good idea to check out more than 2 albums before judging them!

So if someone is bashing a 90s crappy band, you counter by bashing one of the greatest heavy metal bands of all time? thats crazy.

You give HT a free pass for slamming a band because you agree with him, while I was very mild in my criticism and the whole board flips out. Notice how I was personally attacked for stating opinions while I never did that to others. I can't believe how one person saying they didn't like Judas Priest much could personally injure all of you that much.

It's simply dogmatic thinking. Here is the second definition of dogma from dictionary.com.

Dogma-An authoritative principle, belief, or statement of ideas or opinion, especially one considered to be absolutely true.

Is Judas Priest better than CoB? The prevailing opinion says it is, the prevailing opinion even states Judas Priest is one of the best metal bands of all time. But musical preference is an opinion, not a fact, and by stating this opinion as fact you are all demostrating dogmatic thought. So you all would have fit in very well in the upper hierachy of the medieval Catholic Church. Hope you are proud of that.

And for the record, the best metal band ever to come out of England is My Dying Bride.

Judas Priest being better than Children of Bodom is a fact. Check your nearest encyclopedia.

but then, when one has only heard 2 albums including one with a replacement singer (either if he was better or worse), you can say he still has some homework to do before saying this kind of tonterias

Look, everyone. do not confuse the thought "I love Judas Priest" with the thought "I miss my Trans AM and my mullet and denim jacket"....because I think some of you think those thoughts are interchangable. Just because Priest was playing in the background when you and the rest of the breakfast club got out of detention doesnt mean the music was good. Let the past go. The rest of your family doesnt bring up the magenta spandex, so recipricate by never mentioning Priest again. You owe them at least that.

emperorblackdoom, Painkiller and Jugulator are Priest's most agressive albums. If you think those are hard rock, forget about checking out older albums, you'll just think they're some kind of lullaby. Perhaps heavy metal is not your thing.

You're wrong about that dogma theory, people are defending Priest because they genuinely like/respect that band, not for other reason.
You're right about some other guys being left alone when they bash all kinds of bands, but that's not really because all the rest agree with them, but because of different other reasons.

Oops I Did It Again - hahahahah that song is a great joke.I didn't very much liked the way Alexi sings on this one but as i said it's a joke.The song does it's job perfectly and that is to spit on Britney.You can even hear someone spitting in the beginning of the song and in the end Alexi and the woman singing the britney part are laughing together.Hail Alexi.

It's a bit too smart-assy for my liking. They've done obvious piss-take covers much better in the past.
