If the track is actually about fandom feuds then I am totally hoping they go back to the guitarist writing about history/fantasy come next album.

They've gone from DHG-esque to Arcturus-y, but it's not bad. Should review their debut, lovely bit of weird black metal.

the video made it clear that it really is. also, it turns out the lyrics go "drought" and not "crowd", which admittedly makes more sense. in my head, drought rhymes with bought, not with trout.

i enjoyed the more personal lyrics in some songs from Scurrilous (Tandem and Hair-Trigger were especially good, imo), but my favourites are still in Kezia. good story, good message, and a tonne of really cool lines.

what, i'm serious!

in almost every song there are 1 or 2 key lines that more or less summarise the character's feelings about what they do and what is happening, and they are really cool lines :lol:

good description. personally i'd be happy if it went that way. miss the sheer heaviness of that album.

i like the breakneck pace, solos and heavy metal-y guitars. not sure about the growly bits but overall it's still awesome.
