This marks a huge step backwards for heavy metal. Usually I'm all for doing being ridiculous and rehashing old ideas....but only when they are good ideas.

Just look at the song titles. Look at them and laugh!!! :D

Aside from that, the two songs I heard from this album are actually pretty cool. Melodic, highly catchy with over the top choruses. And most importantly, unlike Rhapsody, these guys don't take themselves seriously. A big plus for me.
Might actually give them a shot in a a near future.

This album repeats a lot of the same stuff I've heard over the years. It may lack originality but the song titles and the humorous side to the band won me over. It is indeed catchy, but nothing to jump out of your chair for. These guys probably had a fun time making this album. Its always good to see that.

This is a great album. A bit tongue in cheek, but not goofy. I love it.

Well I love Alestorm and I totally dig the extreme goofy thing, if this is the case. By the way I just registered, though I've been a regular visitor since 2004, so hello guys o/
