Listened to this today and discovered it is mentally encoded as the soundtrack to a heartbroken and lonely time in my life :-(

do you like it less? serious question. there are quite a few songs that i associate with things that made/make me sad and that i don't really enjoy listening to any more.

i remember you named Fortress album of the decade, but you really liked this one. how does this compare?

having gone through a few more listens, i'm enjoying Tandem all the way through, but find myself skipping Tapestry and sometimes Reign of Unending Terror - ending is quite weak.

can't wait for the new one.

I still like like it a lot and it's my favourite PtH album, listening to it just brings back odd memories in a way that feels kind of separate from the music but I can tell the music is making it happen.

imo Moonlight/Tapestry/The Reign of Unending Terror/Termites are the "weak" songs although it's more like they're A grade while the other six are A++. Sped up version of Moonlight made my heart beat faster in a kind of exciting but kind of unpleasant way.

hmmm. Moonlight was a highlight for me until i heard the faster version.

Fortress i think really lost power in the 3 songs after Sequoia Throne, and even the latter ones could do with some cutting here and there. Bone Marrow could have been absolutely mind-blowing but they don't adequate follow up to the incredible energy from the start of the song. plus the lyrics are pretty out there... i think i even prefer these personal ones to the whole goddess/feminine stuff.

Don't understand this sentiment. It just seems like a jumbled version of the original song.
