I've heard this is one of Hypocrisy's best Melodeath-era albums, but I still have yet to listen to it. Love this band so much, from their crushing Death Metal albums to their atmospheric stuff to their thrashy new phase. Oh, and they're awesome live.

My favorite is The Arrival but this one is up there.

One of their best :dio:

Definatley check out the rest of their catalog....."Abducted" is just as awesome. "The Fourth Dimension" has its flaws (they were just starting to get the Melodic death metal sounds going) but still worth your time. The self-titled album is a masterpiece.

Also does anyone else notice that Hypocrisy likes to do a fast song, and then a slow song on this album? And several others? lol

I was looking through the list of albums I have that this site hasn't reviewed for this band and thought this would be perfect to add as a classic review in my future writing for the site. I'm saddened this was not labeled a classic! Such a great album! Sweden's finest metal band! This was suppose to be Hypocrisy's last album but the fans would not let that happen. Hypocrisy lives on! :dio:
