I definitely enjoyed this, like I do with all Deftones albums, but I think their previous two were better than this....maybe I need to give it a few more listens. Tempest alone makes this worth the purchase (amazing track).

Was great even though some of the riffs were probably less advanced than the 2003 s/t and less intricate than Diamond eyes which I didn't like. There are lots of beautiful post rock moments in Entombed and Rosemary, and Chino's vocals are unique and melodic as always. They really varied it up in terms of layering and stuff.

Good review.

I liked this more than Diamond Eyes, but definitely not their best. Still highly enjoyable.

Yeah. Need to give it more listens, but it seems more complex and nuanced than Diamond Eyes, enjoying it a lot so far.
