The website it was released on calls it Leper's Caress http://www.scionav.com/collection/1287/ ... ers-Caress

and Lepers Caress, too

Quote:
My mention of Arch Enemy could be read as a jab against Malone and co., yet unlike the aforementioned, Arsis remains as gripping as always with this release through refraining from every being off-putting with their technicality or overtly cheesy with the melody that they incorporate.

You conjugated "remains" as if Arsis were a singular noun, but then gave it the plural pronoun "their".

HA.

Talking about the band as a singular entity vs the plural skills of the members?

Sorry Trapt, I'm trying...

Does that have anything to do with two of the tracks being reworked demos?

It's free, so you should.

Some other bands have released EPs and stuff through Scion recently:

Corrosion of Conformity

Enslaved
http://www.scionav.com/blog/2011/05/10/ ... ng-gods-ep

Immolation
http://www.scionav.com/blog/2011/10/11/ ... ep-release

Municipal Waste
http://www.scionav.com/blog/2012/04/03/ ... ep-release

Revocation
http://www.scionav.com/blog/2012/09/25/ ... t-giveaway

Saint Vitus
http://www.scionav.com/blog/2012/09/14/ ... ew-live-ep

Witch Mountain
http://www.scionav.com/blog/2012/10/16/ ... e-and-tour

Wormrot
http://www.scionav.com/blog/2011/09/20/ ... ep-release

Worth checking out, at least. I highly recommend CoC, Municipal Waste, Revocation, and especially Witch Mountain.

Incorrect. It's a compound word.

Right, a hyphenated compound word. I won't argue it, though, since it's one of those words that is accepted now as "badass" because so many people have done it wrong for so long, just like people now write "email" instead of "e-mail."

the internet is to blame for all of this, the rapid stupification of the masses through bastardisation of the English language over the web is unbelievable

Not a chance. This isn't 15 years ago when I had all the time in the world to spend wasting it with pointless Internet arguing. =)

have to say an internet argument about the decaying state of the English language is pretty low on my list of priorities

then again this situation is nothing new, poor grammar and spelling existed long before the internet, ever read a seven hundred page piece of legislation from the UK with no full stops, commas etc? yeah that was really not fun, worse then my bloody contract readings
