Rotting Christ--Ice-Shaped God

Not one of the most memorable tracks from Non-Serviam, but still features great leadwork and a good sound. 7/10.

Dimmu Borgir- Mourning palace 8/10
Very cool track, from probably, the best Dimmu record. And I'm not even a big fan.

Lord- Devil Is A Loser

oh yuck, dreadful vocals, weak guitar work and dull drumming with pointless symphonic elements and an uninspired chorus 2/10 and a stark reminder of how rubbish this band is

Harmony - End Of My Road

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYbuGD53xSo

once again may have to overlook the obvious religious message, this and a couple of other bands were suggested to me by a devout protestant on my other forum and I make no effort to exclude music based solely on its message

Oh come on, that Lordi album has a spectacular 97/100 score on this very site ;)

Harmony-end of my road
A nice chug to the riffs but otherwise a quite plain song, not digging the pop-ish chorus. 5/10

Man, I'd expect something like this from Tehom The Almighty.

Tis true, though.

Ayreon - Age of Shadows. Pretty awesome till the vocals hit and it devolved into standard generic prog metal bullshit. It's all just something I had heard once before. Sounded like SymphX b-sides. 5/10.

Panopticon-Kentucky (outro)

A nice way to close an album I should give a listen to soon (I liked Collapse). A banjo surely evokes the Kentucky I'm familiar with well. 8/10.

Made me think of the bulk of this track.

Shit, forgot to score this one earlier.

Negura Bunget - Hora Soarelui. NB has such an awesome take on black metal with that album. I don't know what to say about it besides that I need to dig more into it. I totally get the vibes of what you're saying. 8/10

Armored Saint-Aftermath

7.5/10

Intro riff is a little darker than I expected, but goes back into the more mid paced Armored Saint we all know and love. Riffs and bass have a Somewhere in time time vibe, the acoustic riff seems kinda out of place and the gist of the song reeks of typical 80's balladry. Bush's vocals are fucking great as always, he's always been a more consistent vocalist than Belladona and the song just showcases his abilities. The song ends with a hard rock-ish solo, and validates why these guys kick ass.

I don't know why it was posted here, but that was suppose to be a post about this band I was seeing at the time and how hot the singer was.

Baroness - little Things. Least favorite song off Yellow, as it is too whiny. The solo redeems it though. 6/10.

CELTIC FROST - A Dying God Coming Into Human Flesh
Monotheist was (and still is) a great album. This one's my least favorite of the album, no bad but the first part is way too long and the second too little evil to balance things right.

5,5/10

Classic Test'. I never loved The Legacy and so this album is where it all starts for me. Skolnick is a champ as always. I love how it's a shorter track, even if that means the solo doesn't get to be absurd. 6/10

Mammoth Mammoth-Hell's Likely

5/10

The tempo is punkish, drumming varies little except for cymbal crashes, riffs are safe and unassuming. Not much to say really except the riff is like a High on fire riff done happily, not really my thing and the chorus of the song and yeahs are annoying.
