Has anybody heard the work of Alex Skolnick..? I heard he went into jazz music and Im not sure if he released anything, if he did I might be interested in hearing that.

His stuff in Jazz isn't as good as Chris Poland's work with OHM, but it's still pretty good.

I heard samples and it sounded like crap or just not my cup of tea. I was thinking of seeing Cgris Caffery live and Skolnick's group was performing as well. I decided not to go.

listen to samples here: http://www.alexskolnick.com/multimedia. ... multimedia

Thanks for the link and yeah, it doesn't sound to good, oh well.

I would have gone to see Chris Caffrey just to hear "Pisses Me Off".

Well the tickets weren't cheap, the support bands were not metal, so I wasn't sure how metal Caffery was going to be and I was pretty busy around that time and already had a bunch of concerts tickets around that time.

Man Eric Dolphy will rip your ears of with a clarinet... as will Gilad Atzmon and David Krakauer to name some more. These two incorporate much middle eastern and klezmer music into their playing. Excellent stuff! Check these guys out if you haven't already T.I.E.

Anyhow... Kenny G plays the SAXOPHONE. He plays it in a hideously cheesy way, but he majors on sax none the less. And if anyone here calls that a faggy instrument I shall be forced to do this:
