Fuck straight edge, if I can't enjoy myself once in a while and cut loose with a few drinks I'd be the most miserable person on the planet, and they're all arrogant pricks as well seriously I have the displeasure of having encountered one when I was having a few drinks at the unibar after an exam who decided it was a great idea to follow me into the unibar to lecture me about how stupid I was for not living the straight edge lifestyle and how I would never amount to anything so long as I enjoyed alcohol, I asked him what he was studying, arts degree, told him I was studying law then asked him to remind me again who was never gonna get anywhere in life that shut him the fuck up, ruined my good time though the bastard

You drink, dude, and I'm sure your tea has caffeine in it. And I assume you have sex. Well, sex is only an issue for Christian straight edge. But yeah, Zad, I don't know if straight edge takes on the religiosity across the pond as it does here, but it's obnoxious. Straight edge punks really get a kick out of fighting with other punks. They basically walk around with a stick up their ass and because they can let loose and have a good time they just become really macho and on edge all the time.

my problem with straight edge is not limited to them alone, I have an intense loathing of people who try to force their views and beliefs upon others, in my encounters straight edgers do this to a degree I have only ever encountered once previously, fucking jehovas witnesses, don't know which is worse tbh
