Intro begins with a sorrowful violin intro, and builds up gradually into a post-hardcore type song with very annoying nasally vocals reminiscent of that dude from Dillinger Escape plan. His caterwauling and the constant jumping back between riffs are annoying to say the least, then he goes into the Rollin's like dialogue and its back to the annoying riffs. The song is too long and goes nowhere, I'd rather have my ass waxed than listen to it again.

The Meads of Asphodel - My Beautiful Genocide. I really enjoyed that. I had always meant to check the dudes out, but never gave them the time. The opening reminded me of post-punk with that riffing and heavy bass. Then it straight up shifted to some Hollenthon style battle folk metal stuff with proper leadwork on the guitars and almost like black metal Lemmy grunts. I dug it. 8/10.

Heavy intro riff is nice but these types of mid paced riffs really suck and go nowhere fast. It literally plods along with those generic hardcore type vocals, couple that with the fact the main riff literally repeats until 3:12 with the exception of some double bass and the song sucks. This is thrash not awful mid-paced groove riffs, awful band.

Would be great if that guy that doesn't look like he has an ant for hair sung in correct English instead of that "POH GUB MUH DICK" ebonics bullshit. I think these guys have the right instead of delving right into the thrash break, the main riff goes into a solo and in a truly Malmsteem fashion repeats and goes into a heavy breakdown section. A truly good song from the band that inspired Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, and Deicide.
