David Wilcox - Mow 'em Down. It was alright. It was so close to being something that I would enjoy but it lacked any blues-y belting and the riff was just kinda annoying. The buildup towards the end redeemed it. 4/10.

Coffinshaker - Phantom of the Night. I dig it. Does that count as psychobilly? Has a pretty solid Johnny Cash vibe to it in my book. 7/10

We sure chat about the guy a lot, but not sure that people actually have checked him out or what they think of what I might consider his finest moment.

3 Mexicans from Gorma - Dreamer on the Moon. I love this. I could straight up imagine this being on Sons of Anarchy. A solid mix of alternative rock, doom metal with that ability to pick up the pace I love so much in my doom. 9/10.

I just hopped on that train. So damn good.

Glad somebody else noticed this. It is very good.

weird, though we are diametrically opposed politically, we both agree that Johnny Cash is ace.

Ok, I gave it a fair try. It still isn't really my thing (the vocals). That said, I find this version much more enjoyable than most BM I heard.

Riff begins like any NWOBHM riff whether it be Saxon, Diamond head, Demon just you're hard rocking midtempo riff. The vocals remind me if a little less nasal Billy Byford, but unlike most NWOBHM bands there is quite a sense of bass and melodies at times. Great solo and great guitarwork all around at least enough to keep me interested past the cheesy chorus, I like this and I don't generally like a lot of NWOBHM.

Monstrosity- Immense Malignancy

Fine old-school death metal where thrash roots are still showing. That's about the only kind of death metal I could stomach for sooooo long, now I find it too derivative of thrash metal but still fun once in a while.

Rainbow - A Light in the Black
The :dio: smiley was never more appropriate, fucking rocks. One of his best in Rainbow for sure, I personally wish the song was just a bit shorter though.

Shorter? A Light in the Black and Stargazer should be combined into one epically awesome 20 mintute song. Turn on the vaporizer, sit back and be transferred to a state of bliss.
