Been thinking of the olde days of drinking beer and listening to metal and thought what's the ultimate Thrash party album?

It's gotta be catchy and riffy and make you want to drink beer! Also doesn't have to be pure Thrash, just have a Thrash vibe

Annihilator - Alice In Hell

Anthrax - Indians
Anthrax - I Am The Law
Anthrax - Keep It In The Family (live)
Anthrax - Metal Thrashing Mad

Megadeth - Wake Up Dead
Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Whose Dying
Megadeth - These Boots
Megadeth - Holy Wars...The Punishment Due

Metallica - Master Of Puppets
Metallica - Enter Sandman (not pure Thrash)
Metallica - Sad But True

Metal Church - Ton Of Bricks (not a pure Thrash one either but it fits the vibe)
Metal Church - Fake Healer (that intro riff will have you airguitaring)

Nuclear Assault - When Freedom Dies
Nuclear Assault - Critical Mass

Overkill - Elimination
Overkill - I Hate
Overkill - Thanx For Nothin'

Pantera - Cowboys From Hell
Pantera - Domination
Pantera - Fucking Hostile

Sacred Reich - American Way
Sacred Reich - Whose To Blame

Slayer - South of Heaven
Slayer - Angel of Death
Slayer - Skeletons of Society (about the only time I really dig this one)

Suicidal Tendencies - You Can't Bring Me Down
Suicidal Tendencies - Institutionalised
Suicidal Tendencies - Gotta Kill Captain Stupid

no Kreator? no Destruction? no Artillery? also notable in their absence are Dark Angel, Death Angel, Annihilator, Sepultura, Testament (Alone In The Dark really should have made the cut) Exodus, Vio-Lence, Coroner, Sadus, Hallow's Eve and well I could go on forever but don't really have the time

Too Thrash for the most part! Though I'll add Annihilator (Alice In Hell) in.

Stuff like Dark Angel and Kreator is awesome but too vicious for cruisy party stuff and chilling out with some beers.

Artillery is one of my faves but not Yank sounding enough.

Basically for the most part Yanks do party and Europeans do viciousness.

By the way the list above is not my fave Thrash stuff of all time either. E.g. outside of drinking beer, I actually can't stand Sad But Trye.

Glenn's song from Nuclear Assault is incredible and has a fun bouncy riff. It came off a terrible album with 3 good songs called Third World Genocide. The title track is good too and there may be one more. I thought "whine and cheese"'s novelty wore off quick.

(oops, fucked up the band name)

maybe Xentrix's "For Whose Advantage?" Go through that album, there's a lot to like.

I don't think you folks know how to fucking party. Fucking Dark Angel would be depressing. Anthrax is solid party thrash. Cowboys from Hell is solid. But honestly, don't laugh. Municipal Waste's Art of Partying is fucking awesome when you got a PBR in hand.

I always enjoyed Pantera whenever I heard it at the bar.

Muncipal waste suck dick and so do all Exodus albums that aren't Bonded by blood.

That being said, I can't think of any party I'd like to go to that spun shit bands like all the ones you guys are mentioning. Closest non gay thrash bands that I wouldn't mind hearing in a relaxing atmosphere would probably be Meliah Rage, Znowhite, and maybe Acid Reign.

Obviously Tankard. Pick any album.

So many bands / albums missing here, it hurts my head, though.

I'd say anything but the Big Four Bay area bands, excepting Bonded By Blood.

Destruction - Infernal Overkill
Sodom - Obsessed By Cruelty
Sodom - In The Sign Of Evil
Kreator - Endless Pain
Kreator - Pleasure To Kill
Sacrifice - Torment In Fire
Sacrifice - Forward To Termination
Coroner - Punishment For Decadence
Seputura - Scizophrenia
Sepultura - Beneath The Reamins
Witchaven - Faces Of Death
Dark Angel - Darkness Descends

No one mentioned Dark Angel and Kreator except as to say they wouldn't be of any sort of good in that situation.

If Metallica is included, Hit The Lights is a must.

I mentioned them Tehom, you said the bands being mentioned were "gay thrash" so that general statement would include anything I had brought up as well

still say Road Mutants by Death Angel should be in there
