I had another massive migraine yesterday. I wanted to write a second review but I didnt' get to that since I could barely move. If I got out of bed I either vomited or fell to the floor out of dizziness. There's also increasing pressure from my parents, girlfriend and best friend to get a brain scan done, I don't really know what to do with that. I've got this typical mindset that there's nothing wrong, that it's just a headache, everyone has those.
I've had some awful headaches where all you can do is try to go to sleep to stop the pain. But I have never vomited or fell down from the pain. Milan, get checked out man. Go get the scan done. I'm a procrastinator too. But your health is important.
I've had migraines since I was five years old if you can believe it. My mom had them and my dad's mother had them as well. I'm not sure if they're passed on through DNA but I definitely have them and that's what I blame them on. I have migraines that make me vomit, I do experience dizziness or vertigo, and of course the dark silent cold room is the only place I can rid myself of one. Within the past year I had one where I experienced a cold numbness down the left side of my face. I've seen multiple neurologists throughout my life for them. When I was a teenager a neuro prescribed a heart medication that really helped. I was headache free (almost) through my 20's but they returned in my 30's and have really become worse in my late 30's to the present.
I began waking up every day with HUGE migraines that were absolutely debilitating over the past two to three years. I did some research and I now take two herbs, one called Feverfew (3 times day) and another called Butterbur Extract (twice a day). I combine those two with a dose of Magnesium, B-2, and a high potency Vitamin D and I no longer wake up with migraines.
I've also had CAT scans and an MRI done after the face numbing event and the only thing they found was an arachnoid cyst in my brain which isn't causing the headaches. I recently saw a neurologist who wanted to put me on three different meds, all which have terrible side effects which also include possible heart attack. I threw away those prescriptions and found the herbs. I still have headaches.
