They've always more or less been a novelty act. Nothing really remarkable about these guys decent at best, but even lesser known thrash bands like Invocator, Deathrow, Holy Moses, and Necronomicon are worth more than these guys entire career. Good album I suppose, but if this is classic than the guys in Manowar have penises under their loincloths.

Horseshit. Some of the finest thrash riffs I've ever heard were from tankard. They are just a great fucking band, but if you do not take something seriously and don't allow the music time to simmer in your brain, any album is going to be mediocre.

Not directed at you, but do people really expect instant results from albums from bands that they've heard the other albums they like a hundred times? Doesn't work that way, I'm afraid.

A minor classic as Tankard've always been a band of minor importance but a classic nonetheless.

I really love Tankard (I should review their new one now that I think of it) but I don't think there's a single album in their discography that I'd call a classic. They're a lot of fun and have got a ton of great riffs but true excellence has always escaped them.

It's a classic album in Tankard's discography.
Is it a classic? When I see some albums which got classic reviews, I'd say it is.

I was a bit unsure what to do with it myself. I definitely consider it a classic. Put it up for discussion with the team but nobody really came out and said anything, so I figured I should go with my own gut.

This is definitely one of thrash metal's finest hour if you ask me. Tankard deserves one in the classic section merely because of their consistent delivery of great thrash metal throughout all these years.

Well I guess then it will have to be Zombie Attack.

Should I take off my pants, or just unzip? Whatever works best.

Jesus,

Stefan, Bar, let me know if there's anything you want. I'll share. Maybe.

That's cool, man. You take them. I can't afford the ticket to Canada just for a blowjob right now anyway.

The always consistent Tankard is one of the most criminally underrated thrash bands out there.
