Just curious to see the amount of fans of this relatively semi-known band, I think Evil Invaders is probably their most renowned effort but Shotjun Justice and Executioner's song are all great thrash/speed albums in my opinion. What are your thoughts on them? They could also do with a few reviews, or at the very least a classic status for Evil Invaders.

I know DevWal loves 'em, I find 'em average at best.
Actually, I can make a fine best of album out of their discography but I can't say I'm too impressed with each album individually.

+1. Same thing goes for Manowar.

I only have Violent Restitution, which I bought about 3 years ago basically because of Waly's mad rage at discovering I didn't have any Razor in my collection.

I think it's ok. I mean, it's a perfectly passable slab of thrash, but it doesn't blow my world apart. I need to get a couple more before I pass final judgement I think.

Will you stop with the Manowar-bashing? It's all over the place now!
What's more, it's an insult to compare a band which produced 3/4 excellent and influential albums to a faceless, 2nd rate Canadian thrash band.

Sacrifice is better, but Evil Invaders and Violent Restitution are great. Executioners Song has some rippers, and the later albums like Shotgun Justice or Open Hostility are pretty brutal for the genre. Even Decibels is a decent groovin thrash album.

Razor is pretty great, but yeah, Sacrifice all the way when it comes to Canadian thrash.
