Listened to that album and I adored it. One of my favs of all time. Anyone listened to the other Anacrusis albums? Planning to check out this band. Looking for some suggestions/opinions.

I've only listened to Screams and whispers, and it's a killer. I think it's rated as their best, and I can't recommand it enough. Songs like Sound the alarm, Release or Brotherhood are among metal's best.

Manic Impressions and Screams And Whispers are classics!! Suffering Hour is a bit less amazing, but it's still enjoyable as you can here a band with a lot of talent! It's just a bit unrefined, I guess. Kenn Nardi's vocals are still unmatched when it comes to uniqueness! Such a killer band!!

Have you ever heard Cynic? Forte? Helstar? Check those three out, as well, if you're looking for some older, more obscure metal bands from the past.

Supposedly Chad Smith (Chili Peppers) once was the drummer in Anacrusis! I can't confirm this, but people say the Chad Smith once in Anacrusis is the same guy. Not sure though.

I love Suffering Hour, Manic Impressions, and Screams and Whispers. Never could get into Reason for some...reason.

The demos they have available at the site are really good. Man, I wish this band didn't break up. What the fuck happened to Nardi? Him and the brothers from Forte just fell off the face of the earth!
