I think I might've created a newfound interest in (aka obsession with) chess today.

Also starting to follow through on a fiction idea. Whiskey and cash being the main themes.

Chess is fun until you stop getting better. Fantasy hockey is better, you should join us.

And cigars and hats. You can't write a good story without hats involved. It is known.

Have you read any novels by Dashiell Hammett? You would love them. Start with The Maltese Falcon.

Yeah, haven't read any Chandler but I've also heard it's a similar sort of hard boiled goodness.

And happy birthday Zad!

Heh, that's cool. It was just a joke. Dashiell Hammett's characters wear hats and smoke a LOT.

I dreamt about Rob Halford giving me geometry lessons in my bathroom. Fully clothed but still...

Also, happy birthday Zad!

Did you ever tell your GF about all the little occurrences in the past little while? I mean this dream doesn't mean much but I remember you saying you were attracted to the same gender a while back. Maybe you swing both ways, buddy. Nothing wrong with it. Actually I think it's a healthier approach to life to be quite frank. As long as there is moderation...

Jealous.

The girl I have dated for the last month or so is going out of town for the next ten days. In ten days, I'm leaving for the east coast with stops in Columbus and Philly before I get to Manassas. It seems like a rather convenient ending to it all, and I wasn't totally sucked in by her, but I'm going to miss the snuggling.

I'm happy for you, brother. Hopefully in a year time from now we'll hear some wedding bells!

Haha, I mentioned I liked Morrissey a few days ago to which Trapt replied that it's okay to be attracted to men (his music is quite gay, I can admit that). Nothing was said about me actually being gay though and so far I'm still feeling quite heterosexual. When Halford starts showing up naked in my dreams then I'll start having doubts.

As I say again... If you can fall in love with women and still be attracted to man in a "sexual" way, then, you would "categorically" be bi-sexual. I'm sure you know what Carl Jung had to say about this? In any case, fuck categorizations.

Don't worry, he thought I was gay as well. Nima wants everyone to be gay it seems.

Huh... That's interesting...

Well, you never know when you become out of your mind when in love!

Hmm, really now? That sheds a whole new light on things...

But in all seriousness: so far I've never been sexually attracted to men in my entire life. I don't know where that dream came from but I doubt it has something to do with homosexual tendencies. I mean, of all things Halford could teach me he chose math? He'll have to come up with something better than that to get in my pants.
