Has anybody heard the full album yet? I've heard only two songs and the single Cry Thunder might be the best power metal song i've heard in a while. The new vocalist sounds pretty good too. I just hope that Cry Thunder isn't the only song in that style.

CRY THUNDAH!!!!! :dio: :dio:

Yeah, that kinda took me by surprise too, i expected them to play a million mph and they did not not. It's not very slow either, but fairly slow by DragonForce standards.

The new song is awesome. I'm really looking forward to this album, for a very simple reason: the songs are shorter. I mean, I've always liked these guys, but there is just no need for their songs to be 7-8 minutes long, and I always prefer the radio edits of their singles to the original versions.

Lots of Maiden here. Great song actually considering how extremely shitty their last couple of albums have been.

Listened to the album twice now and I'm impressed nice mix of pace. The first Dragonforce release I could go straight back to for another listen and not need a speed break.

Just finished album now, and though I will give it a few more spins, I feel it's pretty average. Where are the huge melodies? Maybe JP had some inputs in the song writing department that's now missing. Not bad though.

Surprisingly not nausea inducing as I was thinking it would be. I actually enjoy the new vocalist more than the old. Dare I be curious? Hmm....

Surprisingly the softest song is IMO the best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC-uN6fWhDQ

Reminds me of Stratovarius.

It's a good album, songs are a lot shoter than on previous albums. I don't mind Hudson's vocals, but its taking a while to really get into it. Its got a lot more cheese in it than on the previous CDs.

I love it, and at times feel it's their best to date because of the shorter songs and variety. It did take about 3 weeks to truly shine however, so for those who aren't really digging it initially, I suggest giving it some time...
