Looks like this band will never release another song again. They have apparently been searching for a new singer for years now. Tis a shame but I think we're gonna have to call it on this group, as great as they were.

Is this a bait thread?

I'm going to to something new. Lost Horizon isn't a good fit and not much is I have come to realize. I've basically figured out that I use half my voice doing normal metal vocals and use different weights to get the tone right to try to sing it just as it was done originally. The problem is that I have a much more massive voice than anything I've ever wanted to sing required. It's definitely clear and has plenty of treble and forwardness like a Tenor or countertenor's voice and it is totally lacking nasal quality, I also happen to have darth vader's thunderous Bass if you added an octave pedal to the mix in each direction. I did some solo recordings today and my voice is just everywhere at once and is up in your shit because it sounds like a really clean and sharp singer but there's no place to hide from the violent storm of converging air pressure vibrations.

Yeah, I'm sure this thread started for you. You're horrible, please stop trying to justify your horrible voice.... you're tone deaf.

Yes, this is a bait thread. I wanted you to post a recording that sounds like your voice reverberating through a deep valley after hitting a high note from the top of the tallest mountain.

And please, try to avoid any of your shit getting in my shit.

Yeah, okay that is why so many of the demos I sent out have to be redone because people think I am not nearly loud enough no matter how clear it is I am there or how loud I make it. It's so off key the voices meld together and into one

Look they're trying to find someone with either Heiman's range or someone more powerful and quite frankly I don't think there is such a beast around otherwise they would have already found him.

Not many vocalists can pull of what Heiman did with LH but IMHO Ripper comes closer than anyone out there currently that I've heard so why not?

Jioti Parcharidis or Urban Breed would be nice in LH. But I agree with the Terror, they are (sadly) dead. Still, I play both albums religiously; it's the most uplifting music I have ever heard.

Nope, I can hear you just fine, and my ears suffer because of it.

I totally agree with both of those choices for vocalists. Also, I'd throw in Kelly Carpenter from Beyond Twilight, Mark Basile from DGM, maybe even Michele Luppi from Vision Divine or Jonny Lindqvist from Nocturnal Rites. The last two beings stretches, but better than nothing I think.

I haven't given up hope yet, but this clear lack of interest from Wojtek is frustrating. I, as well as others, tried getting him to talk about LH on his facebook page(the LH site is truly dead) and he wouldn't even give a worthy response.

The worst part is that Daniel Heiman left this promising, already elite band to make Heed, which was OK at best, then quit that and joined some douchebag posers and created Lavett, which is such a steaming pile of shit.

I think the best fit for Lost Horizon is Iuri Sanson from Hibria in his Defying the Rules form. I think he would be perfect and one of the only guy who would come close to emulate Heiman.

The problem is that...well he's in Hibria :P

Good idea. Alexander's picks are good too. You guys just prove that LH *could* have a future.

I didn't mention Iuri because his voice in the latest album sound a bit, well, dry. But he was amazing in Defying the Rules.

True and i could be wrong but i think it was done on purpose to go with the heavier , raw and more straight forward direction they were going for Blind Ride.

I don't think Iuri lost his capacity to reach the higher notes like on Defying The Rules. At least i hope not

Nice choices but in their eyes they won't cut it. What pisses me off about LH is they act like that guy who dated a perfect super model who got dumped and expects to find another perfect super model not realizing that there are a ton of beautiful women out there.

Same thing here. There are a few vocalists out there that can do wonders for LH. Sure they might not have Heiman's range but who the fuck cares. Stop being so damn fucking picky. Pick someone even if you have to change up your sound

I think the only one that matches the purity Heiman's voice is Elisa Martin (Dark Moor, Fairyland, Dreamaker). Judging from her perfomance with Fairyland I'm sure she could even do the old Lost Horizon songs justice.
