Not a huge fan of this band but I like this album more than The Blackening, just better songwriting I think...also I didn't mind the cover of Witch Hunt, of course it doesn't measure up to the original but I give them points simply for trying, and pulling it off with a good degree of success. Aside from that, I generally agree with everything else - that children's choir is truly terrible, and hard to forget in the context of the rest of the song, which is a shame. Overall a fair score I think.

Terrible shit album with bad vocals and horrible attempts at Metallica/Maiden worship in far too overlong songs. These guys are fucking horrible and have been for a looong time

I grew tired of Into the Locust. It still is a nice album but it's like it's given all that it had.

On the other matter, I wonder why you let Steve back in in the first place. He's proven to be a nuisance countless times before and I can't see him changing.

Aside from it being metal, there is absolutely no resemblance to either band.

I think he was referring only to the length of the songs being similar to Metallica/Maiden. But who knows, rationality was not one of Steve's strong suits.
