Thomas can have him while he is at that age. Once he gets a bit older that is when I will intervene. Trust me, if a 3 year old wants Thomas, give him fucking Thomas or face the consequences.

I think it was for the *other* Thomas. The one who's not a tank engine.

Sorry I should have been clearer, my fault. I meant I think Fridge's and EBDoom's replies were to this post:

and not about *your* Thomas the tank engine post. Although Thomas the tank engine is, indeed quite the massive frightening shit.

Just picked up the dog from the vet. They can't decide if he has Inflamed Bowel Disease or Cancer. So, this time we're trying prednisone and an added canned food to his diet to see if it helps him. He's lost almost 15 pounds since January. This is the 6th vet trip since the end of January and I'm thinking that this poor guy isn't going to make it much longer. He's such a good fkin' dog and still acts like nothing is wrong. He just wants to be next to me. Ugh, this is fkin' killing me.

Working the night shift sucks. I'd much rather start at 5 or 6 am and be finishing work right now instead of just leaving for work. Although, I do like sleeping in.

I hope everyone gets better, life is frustrating me too. I can't seem to nail the custard on the wall.

Most of my demos were me singing an octave too high. The ear is especially sensitive to the frequencies that make up most of the 3rd and 4th octaves. It's easy to get them confused. They seem the same in pitch but the tone leans heavily as being thin sounding or rich and thunderous sounding. I've been jumping around in those two octaves without realizing it making full octave leaps in between notes. That can't be bad, but it doesn't sound great when you can't pick each one out as the pitch it is. That problem was solved working a keyboard for eight hours straight on the computer keyboard just to play the notes and notice how the progressions sound with that in mind. It was obvious which octave was right with a full guitar sound instead vocal tracks that are oftentimes layered an octave apart. I used to sing two octaves too high and that was really awful when not using the full length of the throat. It still sounds shitty for a variety of reasons.

No, watching CLAY tennis on TV is boring. Went to the French open a couple of times, it was great.

Hockey is uninsultable (yeah this is not a word but it should be).

And tennis is "only" the second sport here, the first one being football (the one actually played with feet). Roland-Garros is clearly the Major I enjoy watching the least. The US Open is my fave. Then Wimbledon, then the Australian, then ours. I'm a bad, bad Frenchman.

It's funny how few fucks anyone around here gives. And then you turn on the telly and it's all that's on.

There should be a service that sends German flags around to all the jubilee events. Hah.

Wanna know an awkward spot to be in? You're friend/room mate is also an employee who you lived with/worked with for the last 18 months gives his two weeks notice. Doesn't even have another job lined up.
