Relieving a bit of the stress I have by putting my nose to the ground and getting some schoolwork done. Preparing a presentation on Freud's conception of femininity. Silly stuff but not as silly as caricaturized as. He just makes a few assumptions that are a bit of leaps.

Got haircut. Not as different from my regular hair as I thought it'd be but I'm pretty happy with it.

iPod stopped working. But repairs won't take very long! phew

Gonna learn Cuban salsa and then swing dance to a live band tonight. And cool philosophy lectures on Thursday + Friday. And seeing my girlfriend sing on Saturday (+ Sunday, I think). Week is looking busy but good.

Not keeping up with my desire to practice singing and reading music for an hour each day though. Also bought really pretty wool last weekend but I've only knit one row with it so far. :-(

Fucking ecstatic yet worried and kinda feel bad. George Mason offered me a fellowship so I may move to DC, yet I would have to find affordable living in the area which seems trickier than first expected and feel awful for having to tell Cincinnati that I'm not going to attend there. All their faculty really liked me and it'll be like kicking a puppy.

However, I need to finish writing on Marx right now.

I think it ultimately comes down to what is the best choice for you? If you want to go to DC because it is the better option, then that is the right choice IMO. It sucks that you would have to give Cincinnati bad news, but it is your future.

The fiance, soon to be step son, and I walked across an old out of commission train bridge (should of brought a camera) across town to an antique store.. Picked up some cool old tin signs ... I'm having some relaxing days. Well, despite the weekend which was stressful. Regardless, the last few days have been good just because I have a massive portion of my papers and exams done and gone with only one paper which is only 5-6 pages long. I still haven't started on that, no rush in doing so, either. Although, I might start on it tomorrow. Chances are I will just to have that peace of mind. Life's good.
