I don't know....I just have zero interest in it. Maybe because I still consider it to really just be a kid's thing. Of course all the Halloween parties are this weekend but I couldn't care less....it might have to do with the fact that I'm just not a big party guy to begin with. Or maybe just parties where you need a costume (80s parties are also dumb IMO). Meh.

I find it fun dressing up and I like partying. I also like candy and would totally trick or treat if people would give me candy minus the dirty look.

Last time I went trick-or-treating I wore a black long hair wig, this button up dress shirt that had a very gory Slayer pic on the back, black pants, and glasses with skulls on them. We also took a lot of mushrooms and wound up in a cornfield. My buddy was talking to somebody/thing in the sky. It was also very cold that night. Halloween is Fucked.

i like partying and costumes make it all the more fun, you shouldn't need a day of the year for that though.

also, i remember we didn't have halloween in portugal when i was a kid, people just suddenly started "celebrating" it at some point.

I like the innocent part about young kids dressing up in costumes and getting a nice sugar high. But it seems to be so much more about adults now: drinking at hedonistic parties and then driving home drunk.

Dude...why?? The last thing I'd want when on mushrooms, particularly lots of mushrooms, is to have to knock on strangers doors and then have to talk to them! That's just asking for trouble, hehe.

We don't have it where I live but I wouldn't mind some drunk slutty nurses at my door once a year.

Or maybe it's just because Halloween is so alien to French culture that it can't work.

I don't like parties but I like candy and excuses to wear weird outfits so Haloween gets 66% (C+?) from me.

You're just full of funny shit, aren't you? You really crack me up, Kathy. As for Halloween... I couldn't care less! Although we do buy candy for the children that come by which is really a must.

Yeah, this.
I remember they tried to make this a thing ten years ago, and it almost worked, I even had some kiddies knock at the door asking for sweets. But it failed. The following year I had bought chocolate bars just in case children would come again, but they did not and I ended up eating them myself.

Sadly I've never had slutty nurses knocking at my door. I think I would be so startled if it happened to me that I'd just give them a chocolate bar. No pun intended.

I like it okay. I think Gamma Ray is better, but what do I know?

I'd like to go as the guy in Bruce's signature. You know the Chosen One who will lead the mundane to ethereal bliss and immemorial destiny well at least some say he is.

Halloween just makes me mad/lonely....another time of year that people go out to mad parties and I sit at home writing assignments or watching tv...

Eh, just relax bro, I'm never doing anything social, just like you in this case. Think of all the drunk driving accidents you surely won't be in.
