Dark Funeral after their first album or two was bad. Marduk has released a number of good albums. Easy question.

I suppose both bands in terms of being savage and ruthless are good to listen to once in a while but nothing much more interesting in it for me to be quite truthful.

If this seriously open to all Swedish bands, why isn't Bathory dominating this business?

By swedish black metal I really mean norsecore blasting stuff.

Bathory are good, we all love Quorthon, relax :wink:

Interestingly, Marduk and Dark Funeral have both very recently split from Regain Records.

Edit - jeez, apparently Regain are strapped for cash. They're delaying the new Gorgoroth...

Well the original question posed was dark funeral or marduk but I suppose if you like Bathory more then by all means say Bathory!
