Cobalt are not in the same group as WITTR, Skagos, Krallice, etc. Completely different style of black metal. Don't usually enjoy black metal without a sense of melody, but I like dis.


Second listen, not so surprised I like it. Sounds like a blackened Tool/Remission-era Mastodon hybrid. With cool Americana sounds periodically. Fuck yeah.

noodles: did you listen to Stomach? Probs best song...

Cobalt are indeed different from WITTR, but still considered 'gay' as you perceive us who prefer Non-American 'black metal'.

This is awesome, but Sammet's voice is a bit shaky at times. Jorn Lande completely owns the show every time he takes the mic.
