Yes. I think they should be punished severely, but not with that severe a sentence. Don't see what's hard to understand. People have received less than 4 years for manslaughter ffs.

Wanting the state to do its basic job and protect life and property doesn't mean I then want the state to imprison people for four years for making dodgy Facebook posts. Not a hard concept to grasp.

4 year stint in gaol for inciting violence is fine if the rapist does 15-20 and the cold blooded murderer never gets out at all.

But when the rapist does 6 months and the murderer 18 months, then gaoling people for 4 years for inciting violence is ludicrous.
