I got a question for you guys!

I'm currently looking into printing a 7" split and releasing/selling it via my webshop.

How do you guys prefer to see the costs associated with buying online?
Would you rather have the price of the item be higher, but then including shipping&handling and paypal fees?
Or do you prefer to see the split of the costs on checkout?

It feels like either way I do it, people might feel ripped off.

Second question, for those of you who buy vinyl, what do you consider to be a reasonable price for a 7"?
I've seen prices range from around 5-6€ to about 12€.

I'm honestly more into just a bandcamp download for $4. But that's me.

I like it when it's added afterwards, because when buying multiple items the S&H is usually lower per item, but if it's included in the price then can't really calculate that.

Hey Fred. I think the average price for a CD purchased in Europe should be around 10-11€ maximum. And the shipping price should be added at the end because it looks much better but either way the shopper might be surprised because of the added price. And a price of a 7" should be around 8-9€ maximum, if you want costumers to come back.

5€ (7$) + shipping.
I'd like it better all-included but it shouldn't be more than 8/9€.

I never pay shipping, I always buy in large lots to save money .. buying a single item has always seemed like a waste of money to me.

General, you have Chopin, Sibelius, Stravinsky and you had Vivaldi on it too. On a Classical spin, huh? That's always great to see on a Metal site.

Indeed, the world would be a better place if more people listen to classical music. Mozart ist krieg :dio:

I find it helps with my concentration at work. Metal is OK for drowning out surroundings and giving me energy, but classical is a better catalyst overall.

Thanks for all the replies guys!

I've now placed the shipping&paypal fees on separate lines in the shopping cart, feels like the best way of handling it for now.

As for the prices, I think I'll just be cliché and go for 6.66€ price, ;) (will be limited to 250ex, hand numberd, include free digital download and a poster as bonus!)

I'll let you guys know once I have 'em, maybe someone here will be interested, :)
