Kinda boring really... Not as much guitar wizardry and great melodies as Awaken the dreamers, the faster portions are reminiscent of TBDM as always, and overall its just another dull deathcore album. They were a one off band peaking at Awaken, and while their earlier hardcore influenced stuff is decent, they are strictly a one off band. Oh well fellas, they had a decent run while they had some talent.

I've been kinda on-again/off-again on All Shall Perish.

Since I'm currently 'on-again,' I really wanted to like this one.....
But it's so long....and after the first half-hour or so, it kinda lost me....

I sorta feel like a really good producer would've taken the band aside and said, 'listen guys, there's too much material, so we're gonna cut what's weak, combine what's good and we'll end up with 9 tracks and a 45-minute run time.'

Since that didn't happen, however, I'm just left with a 'missed it by -this- much' feeling.

On first listen, I think I like this album most when it's being melodic. Not to say the "in-your-face" bits are bad, but my favorite cuts are the more melodic ones. I gotta say, this album is really really good. :dio:

EDIT: Definately understand the complaint that it goes on for too long, though.
