This is another one of my 'who are your favourites?' type thingos, favourite guitar duo, ill do a poll of a few more famous ones, death metal as thats pretty much all i listen to, forgive me if i dont include your favourite duo, if u mention it in a reply i might be nice enough to add them to the poll in an edit so if your favourite isnt on here dont vote just yet

mine are without a doubt Jesper Stromblad & Bjorn Gerlotte of In Flames...

Nice poll man, I voted Kalmah, because they write the least crap.

I was getting ready to post a smartass "Schuldiner and.." type comment, but was there even a stable second guitarist in Death?

From the poll options I take none, sadly enough.

Yes there was a second guitarist in death.
So my vote goes for
Chuck Shuldiner and Shannon Hamm

the Amott brothers have both been there since the start of Arch Enemy, Bjorn and Jesper have been together since Colony... thats sounds pretty stable to me

I voted for At The Gates duo, because they are like the only ones on that list I enjoy, my tastes in death metal are a little different after all.

Jon Levasseur/Miguel Roy - Cryptopsy.

Indeed, where IS the death metal? I see none.

Robert Vigna & Tom Wilkinson of Immolation
I love Dawn of Posession...

Though, of the ones you put up, I'll go with the guys from At the Gates.

The only two death metal replies in here , funny enough and I agree with both (especially Cryptopsy!) I'd also like to add Ulf Dalegren and Urban Gustafsson

point taken, although the question for the purposes of this discussion is really how good the guitarists are not how 'death' the band is, otherwise i wouldnt bother putting in flames up there after soundtrack to your escape, it was barely even metal, so as i said, its about the guitarists and their skill and how much u enjoy em :P
