Age Of The Joker and Holy smokes I'm fucking shocked. From what I've heard it sounds like in the line of Mandrake very catchy stuff :dio: :dio:

I'd say this will put their last 2 albums to shame. Thank God because I was getting worried that I wouldn't enjoy another Edguy album.

By the way you have to join their Hellfire Club at their site to listen to the songs but all you need is a valid email address.

Must've missed 'em. When it comes to Sammet, the only thing worth two dimes for me is Avantasia's debut.

For some mysterious reasons the older i get the more Tobais Sammett vocals get on my nerve. Why ? I dunno as i used to be an Edguy fan with Mandrake being my favorite album. I also like Avantasia but i'm not sure this count since Sammett doesn't do all vocals (he does the majority though).

The newer stuff i just find annoying. It's not that it's bad music but it's just no\t my cup of tea anymore i guess. I'll still give the new album a try.

I have to make an opportunity to check these fellows out, I've been pleasantly surprised with the brunt of power metal bands I've indulged in lately from Iron Savior to Nocturnal Rites, these guys probably at least have a few decent songs.
