WtF? I must be out of the loop as I was browsing the CD shop and just noticed it sitting there.

After one listen, I'm not getting a good feeling. It seems smothered by production and the riffs and choruses seem uninspired. I'm not sure what the exact problem is.

I'm seeing good review scores, so we'll see after a few more listens. I thought Frozen Tears was top notch BTW, but this just ain't doing it for me (yet).

I love it. Not as much as Frozen Tears but its close. Aeons of Raging Darkness is just so awesome :dio: Tornado and the title track are also pretty ass-smashingly awesome.

Not as good as their last full length but still very enjoyable and Luca's guitar work is awesome once again.

Aaaaargh I'm so behind on Rhapsody.

By the way, Silent Man, your avatar is so full of win.

I don't really think they've done anything that fun since Rain of a Thousand Flames.

Listening to Aeons Of Raging Darkness makes me wish that Rhapsody did not cancel their "Black Rhapsody" project they had in mind in the early 2000's. If AORD , Tornado and When Demons Awake from POTDF are any indication of how it would have sounded like i think it could have been great.

Hopefully Luca and Co will produce something darker now that their original saga is over. The potential is there.
