What do you think of Metallica's new albums - St Anger
It's awesome! I don't see why everyone hates it so much! 3%  3%  [ 2 ]
It's OK, they could have done better 6%  6%  [ 4 ]
Pretty crap, I prefere their older stuff 58%  58%  [ 37 ]
Metallica sucks and this is no exception 33%  33%  [ 21 ]

The greatest load of shit they have ever released or just hated for the sake of it? Personally I think it's crap...

St. Anger was pretty mediocre IMO. It had a couple good riffs, but most of the songs were just plodding random noise. I do think the fact that the same Metallica who produced Load/Reload had something to do with why it took so much heat (basically, a lot of people feel they MUST hate everything Metallica puts out post-Black Album no matter how good it is). I also noticed St. Anger seems to be gaining more acceptance with the masses now than it did when it first came out which is kind of nice because I think people went a little overboard with it when it first came out. Overall, I voted for "It's okay but could have been better."

I'd say it's about as good as their other album, which suck, but are not extremely bad.

Actually, it's the best damn Enthroned album ever made. But, you are not tr00 or kvlt, so I wouldn't expect you to know anything about that. I could always have you drawn and quartered by a group of n3cro horses., all the while, "Marching Towards the Skullthrone of Satan!'"

At its best moments St Anger merely bad, uninspired, integrity-free Metal. At its worst its a pain that I thought could never be inflicted upon my ears by any piece of music. "Shoot me again, I ain't dead yet..." FUCK OFF :evil:
