It is really sludgy rock. Not at all what I was expecting. Baroness with a dash of classic rock maybe? Idk how I feel about it just yet.

I'm a huge fan of Baroness's early material so any project with ex members of theres is a plus, and I have only heard of Salome not checked them out. Any particular album to check out?

Blickle played guitar up until the Red album so that should be right up your alley. And you should definitely check out the Thou/Salome split, the tracks With Hell For A Mouth and Carving the Ether. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything they've done, their debut self-titled and their final album Terminal are both great.

Phantom Limb is so fucking good. For some reason I always rate it lower than their other albums but it really holds its own against them. Listening to it a second time.

same here, you know i dont know why people hate these guys so much, there actually really heavy for a scene kiddie band and the lyrics are hilarious.
