I've heard rumors about the new Curb Your Enthusiasm, now in NY. Can't wait!

I don't know how easily available it is abroad, but I do urge everyone to see Terry Pratchett's BBC documentary about assisted suicide, Choosing To Die. Heartrending stuff.

"Not available in your area."
I'm quite sure it would make me even more miserable than I already am, so I don't mind. Fookin' life.

I forgot Boardwalk Empire got critical acclaim. The screeners must have been in search of a sedative.

Been watching The Wire recently, great show, so addictive. First 3 seasons took me about a week to watch.

Yeah, I watched the first 3 in about a week as well. Curious as to whether you think the last 2 are as good as the first 3.

I've always liked Larry David. I haven't watched CYE in a long time, though. I used to watch with it a buddy and now that I don't see him anymore I've stopped watching altogether.

Started Curb again a few weeks back. Amazing show. The 'beloved cunt' episode was the last one I saw, tear-inducing.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is hilarious! I can never watch it with friends though, they just don't understand the humour of it all.

Surely they got Seinfeld, at least some of them? Must be the lack of a laugh track

I would be surprised if my friends even know what Seinfeld is.

+1, Seinfeld is quite unknown here too. Also latinamericans doesn't like much this kind of humor.

I was never interested to watch Seinfeld that much. Although I think it's a unique show in how different the sense of humor is. I really prefer Frasier in all sitcom comedies.

i like how a lot of Seinfeld's humour could apply to situations today. would love to see what they could come up with considering the rise of the internets and whatnot.
