I got excited to see a doom metal album with a 95 rating that I hadn't heard of but then it wasn't actual doom metal.

The reason I flipped was because you came off as a dick with that "... And I'm a big fan of Funeral Doom" bullshit that makesyou seem like a guy that thinks he's better than everyone else..Fact is that it's, it's poor and complete idiot reasoning for your score, and your second post was better.

In the review, I never claimed to have much knowledge of the genre, but this album single-handedly made me check out more funeral doom, and it made a huge impact on me when I first checked it out. I find that this has a lot of soul, and is pretty damn massive.

Dear friend, I suppose it's all a matter of perspective and a matter of perception in one's own eyes. This album didn't have any impact on me. What I meant to say by "I'm a huge funeral doom metal fan" was that I love that specific genre of music and keeping that in my mind, I didn't find this album good with what I have listened to until now in funeral doom metal; that is what I meant to say (I apologize for not conveying my point clear enough). And I'm sorry if I offended you in any way in my first post.

I am a 'big fan of funeral doom' too, and you and I don't agree on a few albums.

True.

To be quite frank with you I like civilized arguments. Although when it comes down to it Thoams doesn't have a strong argument about his score in this review, nor does he convince me to check out this album again. Very generic and uninspired writing on this review, in my opinion, of course!

This comment of mine was not constructive at all to be quite honest and I am sorry Thomas because this comment of mine is kind of rude and out of place. Everyone has a way of writing and reading your other reviews tells me that you are indeed a very good writer. I judged too soon and for that I want you to forgive my ignorance.
