Your talking out of your ass. I go to a doctor and take less than 1/20th in an entire 24 hour day of what a drug abuser uses in one hit for significant issues relating to sensory integration. Along with your conduct in the other thread you are starting to look like someone who inheritantly doesn't think that would be a good idea no matter what, if you catch my drift. And I think anyone that has had even limited exposure to that mindset can see it is clearly on display here.

"Score! Just got a what would last me a months supply of what would last a meth addict three days" No. more like "Cool, now I won't get dizzy and confused at the supermarket or won't crash my car because I didn't see the 2-ton truck"

Yes, this album would fit nicely with what MR.com considers a classic album. It is underrrated and defnitely meets the benchmark. Switch my vote if possible, or the next person who disagrees say yes anyway.

You're super-creepy when you talk like a random guy.
And you people convinced me to listen to this again.

Voted YES. This is a great album from, imo, a very overrated band.

I voted no.

Schizophrenia had its couple of moments but for the most part was unoriginal (there are several blatant Slayer rip off riffs in here including a riff of Necrophiliac).

It really is quite bog standard for the day (IMO it's very mediocre).

I don't think Sepultura really worked it out until Beneath The Remains.

Clearly, the classic Sepultura starts with Beneath the Remains and stops with Roots (Chaos AD for me but I can understand how Roots would appeal to some people).

Didn't Kerry King say BTR was a blatant Slayer rip-off? I think you two are being harsh on Schizo.

It's not a bad album. Just a draft of what the band was about to become with BTR.

Wow, we almost got actual schizophrenia in a thread about an album titled schizophrenia.

Rather concerned at this. Only thirteen people with an opinion on early Sepultura? Plus, you know, the polling isn't going my way, so I'll put off reviewing this for another week, to see if more interest can be drummed up and we can persuade the fencesitters to embrace it. No album with a song (originally) called The Past Reborn The Storms can be less than good.

Altogether now:

TO!
THE!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUURGH!
