Back in the days these cock munchers knew how to write good melodic Death Metal. Shame they caught Nu Metalitis.

Definitely another band whose tour bus needed to take a necessary detour off a cliff in about 2000. :P

A great album inspite of not having Dan Swano in it.

Whoa, I haven't seen that cover in over half a decade. I think I even might have owned that one.

They were from memory very generic Morbid Angel sounding. That was back when I was an alcoholic so my memory is blurry.

I had tons of generic Death and Grind crap back then. Angry alcos need angry music.

Now that I've cleaned up I listen to Pantera. Go fucking figure.

Excellent as one would expect, I can't find Caress of the void but this album is good enough. Also, Mithras sound a lot like Covenant-era MA, but far more technical and frenzied than the mid-paced riffing on the album. It's pretty good as well

Caress of the Void is basically impossible to find, but Quietus is great in its own right.

Mithras is a very unique take on the Morbid Angel sound, and should be heard by all fans of MA.

It's jaw dropping how Ihsahn wrote this music when he was around 20-21.

NP: Cancers - Autosuggestion. It was either wintermute or milan who made me aware of this and I owe them one. So fucking good.

I love the motorcycle riff in the title track. So fun.

"Hey this is pretty good power metal!" *there's an insidious deathcore breakdown* "Oh god this turns me off."
