Hour of 13 was kinda blah Dio and Diamondhead worship.

not cool man
I liked them but I was really unfair to them. For some reason, I imagined something like Danzig and then the vocalist straight up sounded like Dio and the riffs weren't bluesy but were NWOBHM and it just wasn't what I expected or wanted at the moment. They were good though. Solid but nothing exciting or interesting like Kylesa.

So, it appears my second ever live gig will be Iron Maiden next month, unless something crops up before then. :dio:

Just listened to Hour of 13 and they're pretty dull, I've never heard any band try to sound so much like Pagan Altar.

That is wicked. It'll be one the best times you'll ever have.

You're not fucking around in terms of selection. Bravo you.

Find a small venue nearby with $10 shows. Rush and Iron Maiden each month will get costly, sir.

Yeah, both are arena gigs. Not many good bands seem to be coming through town at the moment - My Dying Bride and Ava Inferi played on the same day as Rush!

October seems to be a good month. Seeing Immortal in México City. The last time I saw them was in 2000, in the Heart of Winter tour. Good times.

Good times, indeed. I actually was in a situation to smoke weed last night. I took a puff and found it to be rather disgusting so I didn't inhale. And I'm very glad I didn't. Well, here it is... I thought I couldn't resist the urge to smoke and now I have no desire in the first place from I realized from last night. Sober for me is the way to be, with some red wine, of course. Opeth should be a glorious night along side with Katatonia. It'll be one hell of a night to remember.

Just bought my tickets for Opeth/Katatonia and now buying tickets for Enslaved/Alcest!!! I'm not sure about Enslaved and Alcest as I think they are studio bands rather than live bands. Any thoughts?

Bought tickets for Enslaved/Alcest. I am so stocked. First is Enslaved/Alcest on the 8th and then Katatonia/Opeth on the 11th. This is terrific!

Oh yeah, dude. I haven't been to a show in almost two years due to my lack of interest. I am back on track.
