Started The Sopranos again. Currently about 5 episodes into season 2. good stuff.

Agreed.

I am curious to see what you think of the show by season 4 though.

I've seen all the seasons before so I know what I'm in for. Season 4 is all I have up to anyway, so if it hurts I won't have to force myself to watch it.

what's FOTC?

have to watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia properly, only watched 1 or 2 episodes.

just saw Game of Thrones ep 2. don't love the acting, but damn it's good to see the book come to life. i do wonder what someone unfamiliar with the books would think of it so far, though.

I like it. I thought to myself, if it's good enough to listen to Human Fortress and Rhapsody harp on about the same topics, damn it its good enough to watch on TV and will be superior to 95% of TV too.
I have to go back and watch the first ep though.

I have never been a fan of books I can't imagine the characters faces. I stick to Star Wars and Lector books. Maybe I have no imagination, but I always seem to imagine someone else. I remember reading Hannibal and not seeing the movie first and imagining Carlo Magnani walking around Italy as detective Pazzi (forgot the spelling)

coming to the half way point of The Sopranos season 4.

started re-watching The Shield, about 3 episodes into season 1.

started Son of the Beach today, only got 1 episode in of season 1.

watched the season 7 finale of The Office. The episode with Will Arnett, Ricky Gervais, Ray Romano and Jim Carey. Was rather let down as all 4 were terribly underused. Jim Carey is in the show for about 10 seconds. Ricky Gervais is just on computer screen. Will Arnett wasn't even funny. The only one who was funny was Romano. He fits the show perfectly, he played a rather quiet and tamer version of Michael Scott. I could see it working. But the way the show was going, it seems like it may be Jim Carey getting the job.

Brought all seven or whatever boxsets from my little brother for £40, gearing up for a rewatch at some point. Great show.

my buddy has never seen season 6 or 7, so I have been periodically watching episodes with him from those seasons. So now I want to start from the beginning again and work my way up. My buddy owns seasons 1-4 and I have 5-7, so it works out good.

The doctor in Deadwood is without a doubt one of the best performances ever. The bit in Season 1 where he curses God for making people suffer is chilling to the bone.

After blazing through season 1 and half of 2, need a break from Deadwood, so it's back to Shameless. So fucking good...

Game of Thrones ep 7 was awesome, but i do have a question:
in the book, SPOILERwasn't it Sansa who told Cersei about Ned's plans?SPOILER

and very importantly, in my opinion, people i've talked to who watched it but haven't read the books also loved it, after a rather stuttering start. if they liked the setup i'm sure they'll love it when the real action begins. i think the show had already been renewed, but you know, better safe than sorry.
