God damn it, Cotb those damn simpsons animations won't load.

Apparently, you haven't read anything I've written. People respect me in the real world because they get to see the results first hand. I've had a couple wanna be "sound guys" get pissed off at me because they resented that they were shuffled off to the side, one guy even went so far as to sabotage me by setting up the equipment before I could get to the gig and he even put the mixer next to his Bass rig, despite it not being his stuff and that I was invited because I am the expert and was expected to mix the sound. He was a band member though and my friend apologized profusely and said that he didn't want to have the guy walk out right before a gig.

The more you guys talk shit, the harder it is going to be to accept that you are flat out wrong and I wouldn't even expect half of you to admit that I can sing when inevitably my demo reel gets finished this week or next and I post it somewhere.

I don't really give a shit at the end of the day. It is obviously going to be taken with grain of salt when someone claims to have more vocal range than virtually anyone outside of Mr. Peter Cetera, who also claims 5 octaves and routinely claims to have no difficulty singing expert level material.

I act however the company dictates, a bunch of shit talkers are going to have me arrogantly shove it in their face every single time hoping they talk even more shit. I've known some extremely good musicians and together there is no ego because we both too busy congratulating each other.

If there is nothing to compliment, how am I fishing for compliments? I've recorded some awful sounding stuff in the past because of my former coordination problems. Believe me, at times I thought I was kidding myself and should just stop. Hopefully my personal problems will remain under control and if so, there is no reason I can't do whatever I want.

You should send me a sample of your vocals as I am very interested to hear how you sound, if you want that is. Cheers dude.

First of all, I wasn't talking shit. Talking shit includes swearing and it includes name calling which I only called you a school girl and as you know isn't talking shit one bit. On the other hand, I hope everything goes well for you and you get the recognition that you deserve. I am not here to argue... nor am I here to put anyone down by any means. I just sometimes get sick and tired of people being so goddamn arrogant. You should send me a sample of your vocals as I am very interested to hear how you sound, if you want that is. Cheers dude.

The plan was to record this week. I did some but the voice is a bit raspy from the 6-8 hours a day of practice over the last week, otherwise it was exactly what I expected. I wound up recording about 5 songs yesterday, but it could have sounded better without the rasp, so I ditched them.

I'm gonna give it a go today and see if the hoarsey quality can be worked around, or maybe just record something that avoids falsetto.

Within a week or two, I should have about 150 30 second samples done that covers pop/rock/metal, the time frame is depending on if I can stop singing for a day or so.

Where did you pick up your logic? Of course it's based on my tastes and it's my opinion. I imagine everyone in here is sharing their opinion?

Bands that completely disregard tonality are not musicians at all in my book and there are too many of them.

You'd care if you literally couldn't stop hearing everything around you no matter how faint or far away it is and it affected your coordination, speech, taste, smell, feel and everything else. Also, I can't generally feel bass frequencies unmedicated. It feels like I hooked up a subwoofer since.
