I disagree. Each drummer seemed to recieve their fair share of the spotlight given the length of the videos (basically just web videos, nothing more) and all seemed perfectly competent to say the least. Granted I do not have an ear to catch the mistakes you speak of, but at no point do I recall any of the members criticizing any of the drummers aside from perhaps a comment here or there. In fact, they seemed to go out of their way to praise them at every opportunity.
Regardless, it was great fun to get this perspective on the process, and I look foward to the new album just as I have with every DT album.
Choosing between Marco and Mike seemed impossible, either would have been superb. You can't help but be pleased for him, and the band. A genuinely great replacement, in a world where it very rarely happens, I hope he does them proud. Can't wait for the next album.
