The drum tone is a bit too clean, but overall I think its an intense track. What are your thoughts?

Not bad, not incredible. Better than the average Heretic track, and better than those awful song titles for this album had me thinking.

Did anyone else get Smooth Criminal vibes? (03:20 for example, haha)

Anyway, doesn't sound too bad. Lets see how the whole thing turns out...

It's not bad... I don't like how the drums overwhelm the guitars. But otherwise, far from rubbish.

Any other opinions?

I'm leaning from 'not bad' to 'pretty good'. Vincent's vocals actually make a difference.

Killer drum sound. Killer guitar tone. Good vocals.

Song is pretty fucking good if you ask me.

comprising, Uninspired riffs, very generic sounding.

New song entitled Nevermore is up, not bad in my opinion.

Yeah, they've been playing Nevermore live for a while, but I agree it's a pretty decent song, same with Existo Vulgore. I'm still not sure what will happen with this new album. The description just doesn't sound that great. I get the impression some songs will be decent while others will just outright suck, but we'll see.

Nevermore sounds like a pumped-up Heretic... not bad. Will probably get into it more when I stop mentally comparing it to Covenant... I like that they seem to be keeping the song structures fairly complicated and aren't just pumping out Dawn Of The Angry clones. Certainly better than Vulgore.

Apparently all the fans are throwing a huge bitch fit about this album, calling them sellouts, and saying it's the worst shit they've ever heard and so on.

Destructos vs. The Earth and Radikult sound beyond silly, but otherwise, I really don't see why everyone are being such babies about it.

Sounds enjoyably wacky, Too Extreme, I Am Morbid and Radikult especially. Can actually see myself enjoying this quite a bit for what it is.

I don't really care if their lyrics are suddenly silly instead of about Sumerian demons or whatever. Vincent's vocals are good, and if the riffs are better than Heretic I will enjoy it.

It's certainly not an abomination a la Unspoken King. It's more like a badly-thought out experiment that works entertainingly, from what I hear so far. Morbid Angel certainly aren't strangers to wackyness, having worked with Laibach, so this isn't TOO outrageous. Unless you were hoping for Covenant pt 2, which it appears most people were. Oh well.
