This album isn't reviewed on this site...what do you guys think of it? I regard it as a classic as its one of my all time favorites.

Wrong forum my friend, but granted the fact the reviewers are loaded with archival reviews, 2010 reviews, and reviews for this year it will probably be a while.

It's their best record, but IMO Metal Church never produced a classic.

Its actualy Power Metal.

Metal Church is one of my favourite bands, love all of their albums but their first 5 are classics IMO, its a shame the band split up, their last record was fucking excellent.

Anyway, It's okay. Not great. Everything after it was mediocre.

Then again WTF do I know, I listened to it on MP3. :unsure:

@OP : the album is not even close to be my favorite, but it indeed deserves a review.

The album is great, though I am not certain about it being classic. I will say this though, the first track is awesome and has one of the best opening riffs I have ever heard. Maybe not a classic album, but that is a classic song.

Not every 80's album is a classic. Good album yes, but not a classic. My fav tune is Batallions. In general I consider Metal Church an average band. Titan Force is much better.

Great album, although I like The Black and Hanging in the Balance better. Any of them can be a classic anytime, imo.

All the first 5 MC albums are classics in my book.

Harry Conklin is a great singer indeed, but to consider Metal Church "an average band" is imo quite a gay statement.

To each his own, anyway...
