This is indeed disappointing as the return of Barlow to Iced Earth was big news. But he's lasted just one album and now he's gone again.

It just puts things into perspective. Metal and bands are not the be all and end all. Family rules all and I respect Barlow for his decision. No man wants to miss his children growing up around him cause they were too busy with work.

I like Barlow, appreciated his return. Now, finding myself just not giving a crap about this news.

I don't know what this means for Into Eternity,

but Stu Block will be the new Iced Earth vocalist.
Is This temporary ?

Does this mean he his leaving Into Eternity ?
To the last question hopefully not because he was awesome in Into Eternity.

Now Iced Earth goes from writing nauseating patriotic lyrics to writing about Block cutting his wrists. A new low for an already bloated corpse of a band.
