Man. All this time I never realized what a moron you are. You are the worst kind of metalhead. Has shitty taste, has no actual knowledge of the genre BUT is highly opinionated and likes to talk A LOT.

So according to you liking say Slayer, Iron Maiden, Kreator, Carcass, Atheist is shitty taste?

I always thought of Black Metallers are pretentious arseholes. Guess you prove that point.

Besidesif you stopped chomping on your father's cock, you might've seen that I said that each person is entitled to liking their own style.

Now get back on your knees cocksucker. Your dad's waiting for his little bitch.

He never said liking Carcass, Atheist, Slayer, etc. was bad, but your amount of talk and self-righteousness is mind-boggling for someone who has a very superficial knowledge of several subgenres.

The insults are hilarious though; did you learn them in ballroom dancing class?

Man I've listened to enough Black Metal to have a proficient understanding of it.

I used to have a reasonable collection of it in my youth (last one I got was Mayhem Chimera). It all got sold along with a ton of grindcore cause it never gelled with me. 1-2 songs was fine, anything more would drone. I do regret selling some of the Impaled Nazarene stuff - those guys were fun.

Yet Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth kinda worked better to my ears - one was a pyschotic carnival, the other was the musical equivalent of Hammer horror. Neither of these two have been Black Metal for a long time, if at all.

I'm not too familiar with BM evolutions post 2003-04 though bar stuff like Nachtmystium and Enslaved.

You have an indepth knowledge of it excluding the past 7-8 years.

Cool story bro.

You should also play some more Monkey Island games to get some decent insults. You fight like a dairy farmer.

Was Chimera that long ago?

Turns out it was released in 2004! Dang that came about quick. I still remember getting it and being highly irritated at the stupid foldout digipak it came in.

Also I don't understand your Monkey Island insult - was that a reference to a Disney ride or something? At least refering to someone smoking daddy's pole is univerally understandable as an insult.

Damn...I could deal with it when you were annoyingly opinionated...but not getting a monkey island reference? That's just disgraceful!

Going to have to say black metal; the rise of the genre was in and of itself a revolt against the current (at the time) metal landscape and it's increasingly commercial trappings. With bands like Burzum, Darkthrone, Emperor (early), Mayhem and Gorgoroth being basically the roots of all subsequent waves of black metal to emerge over the years.

Dunno about this last statement.

Metal was heavily commercialised throughout the whole 1980s but then started a commercial decline in the early 1990's when grunge came onto the scene. 1991 was probably the last year Metal was huge.

ALso you discount the development of underground Death Metal/Grindcore.

Prior to the Black Metal storm in Norway in 1992-94, you did have the extensive development of Death Metal and Grindcore in the very late 1980's and early 1990's.

This involved a whole heap of different sounds: Floridian DM, Stockholm, Brutal DM, technical DM, industrial DM (Fear Factory), melodic DM (late Carcass) etc. Grindcore was also quite volatile and often crossed into Punk, Thrash and Death Metal.

Most of this came about in the early 1990's.

Of course DM kinda died in the arse by 1995 having kinda run out of ideas.

And nowadays Black Metal is viewed as cooler than Death Metal so Death Metal is kinda forgotten as being quite the revolutionary little genre.

Am I going to have to read this shit in every thread?

And I'd say black metal as well. It's far from my favourite genre but it has pushed more boundaries than a lot of other genres together.

I have no idea why I even care enough to respond to such a moron like you but just to point out how amazingly WRONG you are in everything you just said, here goes:

1 - Dropping a few huge names does not prove you have good taste. It means you know some very popular bands. You have proven your shitty taste many times in this forum. And I never said liking ATHEIST etc. was shitty taste but somehow your brain of a 4 year old made that up.

2 - I am not a black metaller. Not even close (you made this up too). I follow pretty much every genre equally and know stuff about them, unlike you who is an expert on the subject by virtue of a cd he bought 7 years ago.

3 - Really? I guess that is the standard witty insult among 4 year olds. Keep it up.

For all your supposed intelligence, you still haven't figured out that musical taste is based soley on personal taste.

What one person thinks is good another will think is shit.

Furthermore given that my musical tastes involve a lot of popular stuff ala Slayer and Iron Maiden, you're basically implying that most Metalheads have shit taste.

You said I had shitty taste. Atheist is one of my favourite bands and in fact Piece of Time is in my top 5 favourite Death Metal albums.

Thus if I have shit taste in music and I like Atheist, then according to you, Atheist must be shit.

Otherwise I do not have shit taste in music.

How boring. I suppose you find it difficult to come up with any interesting insults cause you're too busy coming up with new ways of pleasuring your male relatives. :P

You never fail to surprise me in your level of stupidity. You have no idea how logic works. Don't try to use it. You simply don't have the brain functions necessary for simple reasoning.

I was going to point out that his quasi-syllogism was bogus but I really just didn't want to get involved but now I am so I agree with what you said. Umm yeah.
