Yup. Post them here, immediately, as there's not long until I need to send them off.

Im curious what he's listening to these days.
Also, does he have trouble walking out in public what with all the notoriety that surrounds him? What is the thing that he missed the most about the outside world while behind bars, and what is the best thing about his newfound freedom (aside from the obvious being free)?
Also, his recent output has been quite good, will he continue making black metal?

What does he think of the current state of black metal, or metal in general?

Why so racist, guy? Just kidding.

How does he relate himself to other first wave acts? Maybe his thoughts on them without leading to him to diatribes. We know how he feels about USBM.

What drew him to the pastoral life? Was it the notoriety, his actions, his family, some desire to be with nature. etc?

I doubt he wants prison questions and I know Euro prisons are nothing comparable to the US' so those questions may not be worth it.

Has he been in contact with anyone from the old days since his release? If so, how did it go?

Dunno if there's still time, but:

Why the switch to predominantly clean/whispered vocals on the new album?

Have you ever listened to any Burzum influenced bands such as Drudkh, Beatrik, Taake, etc. etc. etc.

What is the song at the end of Fallen based on? (IE some kind of folk music?)

I swore he said that about Nachtmystium but I can't find a source so maybe not. Did find this:

VARG VIKERNES: My main problem with Norwegian Black Metal is that almost all the bands from 1992-1993 are made up of rats, who ratted each other out and blamed me for everything that went wrong in the scene. I really don’t want to be associated with them in any way. I should stress that neither the guys in Darkthrone nor the guys in Mayhem ratted anybody out, but pretty much everyone else did. Emperor. Enslaved. Immortal. Hades Almighty et cetera. These guys are fucking rats, or they play in bands with rats – which is not much better!

Further, I really don’t want to be associated with the low-brow Black Metal genre. If you want to know what I mean when I say that just have a look at an Immortal video on YouTube or something. It’s so dumb I don’t know what to say, really, and it’s so ridicules we can barely tell the difference between the real stuff and the parodies.

The man makes a valid point.
Immortal are just goofy.

From the article Trapt quoted

"I am a narrow-minded ultra-conservative anti-religious misanthropic and arrogant bigot, alright, and I have a problem with just about everything and everyone in this world, but I am not demented, and if those who are not like me are able to enjoy my music that is all fine by me. Be a Christian-born black gay feminist converted to Judaism for all I care, or worse; a Muslim. Just stay off my lawn… :-)

Oh, and I may add that I have a problem with most Nordic heterosexuals with a Pagan ideology as well."

This made me laugh because it is exactly how I pictured Varg.

Immortal are goofy, Wolves in the Throne Room think too highly of themselves, Varg calls Emperor and Enslaved out for being rats...for what exactly? Not covering for him?

Varg does not strike me as "insane" in the least.
He is very lucid and well spoken; just because his personal beliefs are unpalatable to some, doesn't make him a nut.

A lot of what the man says is absolutely correct, especially regarding modern society and how sick it has become.
